Description
Cicerchia is a legume originating from Southern Italy.
It is not very common but it lends itself well to numerous recipes such as soups and broths.
Rich in proteins useful for the heart, teeth, bones and muscles, it also contains calcium, phosphorus and vitamins of various types.
The use of cicerchia as a side dish provides simple condiments that do not cover the flavor but that enhance it such as olive oil, oregano, rosemary and aromatic herbs.
